When Work and Home Both Ask a Lot
Adult life often means holding several roles at once. You might be managing a job, raising children, supporting a partner or helping aging parents, all while keeping up with bills, appointments and the details of running a household. When those demands pile up, stress can start to show in your sleep, your patience and your relationships.
Some people notice they are snapping at the people they love, losing interest in things that used to matter or carrying a constant hum of worry. Others feel numb or simply worn out. These experiences are signals worth paying attention to, not signs of weakness.
Support for Adults Facing Stress, Anxiety and Depression
Individual counseling gives you a supportive, nonjudgmental place to sort through what you are carrying. Adults may seek counseling for many different reasons, and you can bring something specific or simply a sense that things have been harder than usual.

A Plan Built Around Your Goals
Care at Infinity begins with listening. Your clinician learns what matters to you, what you have already tried and which strengths you bring, and the work is personalized from there rather than following a fixed program.
In counseling, you and your clinician might identify what tends to set off stress, try new coping strategies between sessions or plan how to approach a conversation you have been putting off. The aim is lasting change that fits your actual life, worked toward at a pace that feels manageable.
Fitting Counseling Into a Full Schedule
Finding room for counseling can feel like one more task on a long list, so it helps to know your options before you call. In-person sessions take place at the Crown Point office, and telehealth may be possible for some appointments, depending on the clinician and on where you are located during sessions.
When you reach out, ask the team which options are open to you right now. The Telehealth Counseling page explains more about meeting remotely.
Using Indiana Insurance
Infinity accepts these Indiana plans: BCBS, Aetna, Humana, Cigna, Ambetter, Highmark, Optum, United Healthcare, UMR, Medicare, MHS, Traditional Medicaid and Anthem. Each company may offer several products with different benefits, so check your specific plan and benefits with the office and your insurer before your first appointment.
The Insurance & Coverage page shows both the Indiana and Illinois lists, and the office can answer questions if your plan does not appear.
