A Founder Shaped by Chicago
Dr. Mashone Parker-Wright, PhD, LMHC, is Infinity’s founder and CEO, and she is licensed in Indiana and Illinois. She grew up in public housing in Chicago, and that upbringing helped shape her commitment to opening doors for individuals and families who are working to heal, grow and thrive.
Under her leadership, Infinity has grown into an organization providing mental health and supportive services to children, adults and families, with its work centered on compassionate care, clinical quality, community impact and family stability. Licensure is specific to each clinician, so the office is the right place to ask which members of the team can work with you based on where you will be during sessions.
Two Ways to Approach Care From Illinois
Because Infinity’s only office is in Crown Point, Indiana, Illinois residents generally have two paths to consider. If you are able to travel, you can ask about in-person appointments at the office. If meeting from home or another setting would work better, you can ask about telehealth.
Where you live and where you sit during a telehealth appointment are not always the same, and it is your location during the session that shapes what is possible. When you reach out, the team can explain the options available right now and help you choose a format that fits.
- 01In person: 5241 Fountain Dr. Suite H, Crown Point, IN 46307
- 02Telehealth: depends on the clinician and your location during each session
- 03Unsure which fits: call (219) 472-8277 to talk it through
Illinois Plans Infinity Accepts
Infinity keeps a separate list of Illinois plans, divided into commercial plans and Medicaid plans. Seeing your insurer’s name is a helpful start, but benefits differ from one policy to the next, so confirm your specific plan and benefits with the office and with your insurer before your first appointment.
The Illinois Insurance Plans and Illinois Medicaid Plans pages explain each list in more detail, and Insurance & Coverage shows the Indiana and Illinois lists together.
- 01Commercial: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare
- 02Medicaid: Blue Cross Community Health Plans, YouthCare, Meridian, CountyCare
Support for Children, Adults, Couples and Families
Infinity’s work spans children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Whatever brings you in, care begins with listening and is personalized to your needs, strengths and goals, with the aim of building healthier coping skills and practical strategies for daily life.
If you are not sure which kind of counseling fits your situation, that question can be part of your first conversation. You can also read about each of the counseling services Infinity offers before you call.
What to Have Ready Before You Reach Out
You do not need a full explanation of everything that is happening before you make contact. A few details can still make the first conversation smoother. When you are ready, call (219) 472-8277 or send an appointment request through the Contact page, and the team can walk you through what happens next.
- 01The state you expect to be in during sessions
- 02Your insurance card and member ID
- 03The kind of counseling you are interested in
- 04A few words about what is bringing you in
