Illinois Commercial Plans
Commercial plans are often provided through an employer or purchased individually, and benefits can vary widely between policies from the same company. Infinity accepts the three Illinois commercial plans below; confirm your specific plan and benefits with the office and with your insurer before scheduling.

- 02Aetna
- 03UnitedHealthcare
Illinois Medicaid Plans
Infinity also accepts the four Illinois Medicaid plans below. For guidance on confirming Medicaid coverage for counseling, see Illinois Medicaid Plans We Accept. Questions about enrolling in a Medicaid plan are best directed to the plan itself.

Counseling Services You Can Ask About
You can ask about any of Infinity’s four services: counseling for individuals, for couples, for families, and for children and adolescents. Each one begins with listening, and care is personalized to the needs, strengths and goals of the people involved, whether that is one adult, a couple, a parent and child or a whole family.
When you confirm coverage, mention which service you are interested in, since benefits can apply differently depending on the type of counseling. If you are unsure which service fits, the team can help you sort that out when you call.
Where Counseling Happens
There is no Illinois office. In-person sessions take place in Crown Point, in Northwest Indiana near the Illinois state line, and Illinois residents who can travel there are welcome to request an appointment. Visits are arranged by appointment through a phone call or the Contact page.
Telehealth is another possibility to ask about. Availability turns on two things, the clinician and where you will physically be during each session, and the team can tell you what is possible right now. Counseling for Illinois Residents goes into more detail.
Confirming Coverage Before You Begin
Because Infinity’s office is in Indiana, it is reasonable to ask your insurer how your Illinois plan handles counseling with a provider located there, and whether attending in person or by telehealth changes anything about your benefits. It also helps to ask whether outpatient mental health counseling is covered, whether anything is needed before your first session and what portion of the cost, if any, may be yours.
How to Check Your Mental Health Benefits has more questions you can bring to your insurer. If your Illinois plan does not appear on this page, reach out anyway and ask.
- 01Find the exact plan name printed on your insurance card.
- 02Ask your insurer about outpatient counseling benefits and any steps required first.
- 03Call the office at (219) 472-8277 with your member ID to confirm the plan.
